About Alfie
Alfie is a 21 year old modern Rock Solo Artist from South East London. He is a Guitarist, Singer and Songwriter. What is Unique about Alfie is his flexibility and versatility while simultaneously being a Specialist with his own Original sound. Alfie does not only play Acoustic as a traditional Singer/Songwriter but also play's at high energy Rock and Metal shows by adding in his live session trio band for extra power. Alfie has experience playing in many genres and styles throughout his career, but is a specialist in the Modern Rock sound especially when it comes to forging his own songs.
What Alfie Specialises in
Guitar
Alfie has been playing guitar for the better part of 15 years. He has created his own unique original sound and style as a Modern Rock Solo artist. Guitar is the foundation to all his songwriting! He is known in the local music scene as a proficient Professional Lead Guitarist. He also wanted to take his studies of the instrument further by gaining a Degree in Music Performance and Production at LCCM (Passed with First).
Singing
Alfie has been singing since he was 15, gaining crucial training and knowledge from some the the worlds best vocal coaches along the way. Alfie decided to Sing because he realised he was the only person who could truly tell the story of the songs he writes. One of his biggest strengths is his ability to compose and sing beautiful melodies over aggressive distorted guitars to balance the song in harmony, this adds to his own sound. Alfie's Voice is a Key component into his Artistry and Original Writing.
Songwriting
Alfie has been Songwriting since he was 13 years old, in Bands growing up in school and rehearsal studios. At around 15 he started to write his own Solo project ideas while in Bands and has written ever since. Since going Solo in 2022 Alfie has taken his Songwriting Busking, to Open mics, In the Studio and of course live in venues around the UK. Alfie always write's 100% of his songs Lyrics, Arrangements, Chords, Solos and Melody's! His songwriting contains Modern Hard Rock/Metal melodic riffs, luscious open string voicings on the guitar, Melodic and energetic Guitar Solos and often plays Acoustic versions that are lyrical journeys of storytelling. After all if you can't play the song on just an acoustic is it really a great song.
